Who We Are The Consumer Health Organization of Canada, a non-profit organization, was founded in 1975. Its mission is to improve the quality and longevity of our life using the "wholistic approach". This approach encompasses our physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, social, and economic well-being. We do not live separately from others. Our environment is both inside us, and around us. What each of us does affects others: what they do affects us. This is the common sense, wholistic approach to life. Because we are all members of one global village, everybody and everything is vitally important. The circle cannot be completed without you! We are committed to operating as a non-profit organization serving consumers, with no strings attached to the support we receive. Through large-scale, annual conferences and trade shows we intend to bring leaders of business, labour, government, education and the healing professions together with consumer for the purpose of enlightening each other and learning to co-operate for the benefit of all. You want to do the right thing by your child when you're giving them their vaccinations, but you may not know that the shots have devastating effects on the health of a small percentage of children. You have a right to know that there are other healing modalities. This knowledge will allow you to make an informed choice about your health and to take control of your own health care.
